Did you know that you can change what is written in the Subject line of any e-mail?
Here’s how in Microsoft Outlook:
1. Open the e-mail.
2. Go to the Subject box at the top and select the written type.
3. Type in a new subject.
4. Click on the Save button which is on the Quick Access Toolbar on the top left of your screen.
Changing the Subject line to more accurate or familiar words will allow you to quickly and easily identify what the e-mail is about especially when viewing it in the Right Reading Pane view.
Changing it is especially beneficial if you have updated it or the status of the e-mail has changed.
Hey you change your oil. Why not your Subject line?
