Tip 124. Rules Schmules.

Have you set up a Rule in Outlook so that all e-mails that come from a particular source are sent to a specified folder?

That’s great if you go through the folder regularly and read and delete the e-mails. It’s not if you are one of the people who just send them off to La-la folder land and then never look at them again. That means build up. Big build up. Not good.

Instead, have all e-mails come through your Inbox so you are forced to make a decision with each one. Don’t be afraid to delete them if you find you aren’t doing anything with them. You know the ones I am talking about.
Do not have them automatically dragged, kicking and screaming, to a folder never again to be looked at.

Do ‘em or delete ’em.
