How much time have you wasted in your life going to meetings? Who keeps calling these things anyway?
Try something different. Make a decision on your own. Stop playing the CYA game. Stop asking upper management to sit in so you can show them how much you know. They don’t want to be in a meeting any more than you do. Take a chance. Allow your subordinates some room to fail once in a while when they take the initiative.
Most importantly, stop having so many meetings. Yeah, I’m talking to you.
Just one time, do the math on the money you spend on salaries for just one meeting.
You want your bottom line and stock price to go up? Stop going to meetings and get some work done for a change. Stop the madness.
