Do you ever find that your well-planned out day doesn’t quite occur the way you want it to?
If your entire day is completely blocked out with appointments and meetings, what happens to your schedule when you run late, an emergency occurs, or you get a last minute e-mail? Worse, when do you actually get any critical work done? (Whatever you do, please do not say after 5, in the car, or at home.)
When you set up your day, keep extra time open to get work done (Your Batched, Calendar, Projects, and To Do Categories).
Hint: If everyone has access to your calendar, set up artificial meetings so you can get your critical work done during these times (Quiet Time).
