Want to hear something really scary?
For the rest of your life, as long as someone is sending you information, you will need to go through some sort of an Inbox… and hopefully that will be for a very long time. Additionally, you will need to go through your desk Inbox at least until you stop receiving paper and mail.
Isn’t it time you learned how to do it quickly and effectively—since you will be doing it for the rest of your life?
The key to quickly and completely emptying your Inbox is to decide where it goes, and then drag it or move it there. Never, ever, do it.
Move it.
Then groove it.
